Paintings Hanging in my Parent's House in Pearland, TX

This one is the oldest painting from 1976, oil on untempered hardboard

Mom wanted a lighthouse scene with crashing waves ... circa 2011, oil on canvas board

I did a portrait of Dad in 1998, I call it "The Speculator"  because he was just that, a land developer. Oil on canvas

Lighthouse

After struggling through a large painting, with lots of paint left on my palette, I bang out a postcard picture for grins and giggles. Here is a dramatic pose of a lighthouse up on a pile of large rocks... ships stay clear. It is useful to have a few blank [or used] canvasses laying about for practice when you are all tense, helps to relax.
